My Teaching Philosophy

The teaching and learning process plays crucial role in mind development of student. I have four points for my teaching philosophy:

1. I want to give my very best in teaching and educating my student towards the goal of development to born a balanced human being. The teacher not only imparts knowledge but also prepares and motivates students to accept and learn skills for future life. I believe from what I have gained from education that teachers do not transmit only academic information but social and personal life skills as well.

2. I will be an educator who up to date with the latest science education. So, I must work hard to learn how to write an effective lesson plans and use a variety of techniques in teaching that suit the needs of different individuals' learning styles.

3. I want my students understand about theory and applications of knowledge they gained from my class. I must make sure students pay attention during teaching and learning process and know to apply in their daily lives. I also can use material like videos, simulation or modeling to make the learning process become relevant and enjoy.

4. I want my student able to work independently, as well as in team. The student must have active physical and mental involvement in learning process. For example, give problem in the lesson to generate their thinking to give the solution. Besides that, they can pose their own questions and seeking their own answer. When student work in group, they can compare finding with the others and also develop communication skills.

I also make a great effort to improve my teaching by seeking feedback from students and peers, attending teaching workshops, and studying and experimenting with new methods and approaches.
